WASHINGTON (ABC7) — Plenty of people have crossed paths with the Capitals since they won the Stanley Cup on Thursday night.
On Saturday night, two of those people were Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump.
While apparently stopping to eat dinner at Café Milano in Georgetown, the Capitals ran into Kushner and Trump who were also at the restaurant.
The team even stopped to get photos with them.
They also paraded around the room with the Stanley Cup in hand as the patrons in the room cheered.
Later, they got behind the bar and starting singing, "We are the Champions."
Earlier Saturday, Alex Ovechkin, with at least several teammates nearby, did a keg stand out of the Stanley Cup among other things at the Georgetown Waterfront. The team was at Nationals Park to start the day.
