Toyota Team Player: Myles Dread
For Gonzaga senior Myles Dread the best way to get over their only loss of the season was to beat top ranked DeMatha in their own gym.
"Its always a big game between us and DeMatha its always been a battle," said Gonzaga senior Myles Dread.
Dread has become the leader of the No 2. ranked Gonzaga team after the Eagles lost Prentiss Hubb to a torn ACL.
"Being notified he wouldn't play this season really hurt," said Dread.
Dread has already won two WCAC championships with Gonzaga and plans to win a third his senior year in honor of his good friend and teammate Prentiss Hubb.
"It kind of put a chip on my shoulder, I want to do this for him," Dread explained.
"Hopefully we can give him another opportunity to stand at the podium at the end of this year and win his third championship," said Gonzaga head coach Steve Turner.
Congratulations Myles Dread you are this week's Toyota Team Player.
