FAIRFAX, Va. (ABC7) - To her cheer teammates, AnnCatherine Heigl is simply known as AC.

The 20-year-old George Mason University cheerleader is one of the only Division I cheerleaders with Down syndrome.

She earned her spot on the team, and her teammates and coach say they don't treat her differently than anyone else.

"We don't see her as having Down syndrome," head cheerleading coach Cortnee Williams said.
