ARLINGTON, Va. (ABC7) — While most of us are digging out, DC United is digging in.
DC United beat the Blizzard and the team is now in Bradenton, Florida for some spring (winter) training.
While in Florida, the club will train and play friendly matches against IF Elfsborg and Jonkoping Sodra, returning to Washington on February 5.
DCU will return to Florida for more preseason action and then travel to Mexico for a CONCACAF Champions League Quarterfinal Match against Queretaro FC on February 23.
DC United opens up its MLS regular season against LA Galaxy on Sunday March 6.
