Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan is once again cancer-free and shared the news by posting a picture to social media.

Hogan announced Thursday that he was having treatment done for a "non-serious" skin cancer and that it would be removed Saturday.

"Larry - 2, Cancer - 0," Hogan tweeted out Wednesday along with a selfie in his office.

"It's basically sun damage," Hogan had said of the cancer after announcing the treatment.

Hogan was diagnosed in 2015 with B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The cancer has since been in remission after months of treatment and multiple surgeries.
