San Antonio police chief reads funny 911 calls in PSA video

SAN ANTONIO (Sinclair Broadcast Group) - In case you didn't know, SAPD stands for San Antonio Police Department and not San Antonio Pizza Department or San Antonio Plumbing Department.

Police Chief William McManus made that distinction clear in a video posted to the department's Facebook pages. McManus read real 911 calls, including one from a man who just wanted some pizza.

Unfortunately, he called the wrong place to satiate his pizza hunger.

Another person called because of a water leak in their house.

The video was produced as a public service announcement to urge the public not to dial 911 in non-emergency situations.
