Woman punched, thrown down stairs, robbed in Md. apartment building; 2 men arrested
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (ABC7) —
Two men were arrested after they allegedly attacked a woman, punched her in the back, and threw her down the stairs before robbing her in an apartment building on Jan. 18 in Annapolis, Maryland.
Police say the unidentified woman sustained an ankle injury during the assault.
Keithan Howard, 47, has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and possession of CDS, and Robert Williams, 52, was charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, theft, assault, reckless endangerment, and conspiracy to commit theft, according to police.
Howard and Williams assaulted the woman and stole her wallet before the leaving the area.
Officers found the woman screaming for help in the apartment stairwell. The incident occurred in the 1100 block of Madison Street.
