Winter Weather Advisories in effect for parts of Maryland after overnight snowfall

StormWatch7 is tracking a developing nor'easter that will have high impacts to New England. For us, get ready for a cold & blustery day with a chance for lingering rain and snow showers. The best chance for any accumulating snow is north and east of D.C. where Winter Weather Advisories are in effect. Elsewhere, expect the best chance for wet weather to be this morning through early afternoon. Keep the warm coat handy. With wind gusts to 25 mph, wind chills will stay in the 30s all day despite our daytime high reaching the mid 40s.

Skies gradually clear this evening with lows falling to around freezing overnight. Tomorrow and Friday will be dry, but windy and cold. Highs both days will top out in the mid 40s, but with the wind, it will feel like the 30s both days.

This weekend bears watching, as another coastal system could take shape. Latest guidance continues to suggest a southward track with this system, which means there's a chance the storm could miss us completely. At this point, Saturday will be dry and chilly. Sunday will be rather cloudy and still cool with only a slight chance of showers, at this point. Also, don't forget we spring forward to Daylight Saving Time Sunday at 2AM.

- Watch for isolated slick spots this morning

- Showers possible this morning, may mix with snow

- Breezy to windy today; stays windy tomorrow & Friday

- Still watching Sunday storm potential; storm trending south
