Wind takes down traffic light pole in Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (ABC7) —
Wind has taken down a traffic light pole in Alexandria.
The Alexandria Police Department shared a photo Sunday morning on Twitter of a traffic light pole at Duke Street and Holland Lane laying in the street.
Police also warned in the tweet for those driving to be cautious of items being blown into the road.
A wind advisory is in effect Sunday in D.C., with gusts of 20- to 30-plus-mile per hour winds.
