DC Police Chief Robert Contee announced several arrests made in recent shootings around the city.

Christopher Frank, 18, of northwest DC was charged with assault with intent to kill as well as carrying a pistol without a license in the shooting just before 4 p.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of Irving Street. Contee said two men were arguing and that argument led to a shooting.

About two hours prior to the shooting, officers were out on foot in that same community.
