WASHINGTON (7News) — A man busted for fare evasion at the Pentagon City Metro Station Thursday morning was arrested and charged after the Metro Transit Police Department (MTPD) found two semi-automatic handguns and brass knuckles on him, officials said.
Police said 24-year-old Demarcus Anthony Henderson of Washington, D.C. was arrested for fare evasion at the Pentagon City station. Officials said Henderson failed to comply with the citation and ID check and during his arrest, MTPD discovered two semi-automatic handguns and brass knuckles on him.

"MTPD extends gratitude to our officers for keeping illegal weapons out of Metro, & is continuing boosted patrols across the system to reduce fare evasion & keep Metro customers safe," MTPD tweeted.
Police said Henderson will be charged with fare evasion and carrying concealed firearms amount other charges.
