Vintage Vespa at The Italian Store has been found

In December, a thief rolled off with the Italian Store’s iconic Vespa.

Four months later, it’s now been found.

ABC7 was there when the owner’s son rolled the 1966 celeste green Vespa.

Thousands of people shared the store's plea for the community to find the Vespa, and that’s what happened Tuesday morning.

An Arlington resident found the Vespa buried in leaves near North Carlin Springs Road.

The Vespa is a staple of the popular business.

Arlington police are still working to find the thief.

But the Italian Store is just glad to have their iconic Vespa back.
