GAITHERSBURG, Md. (WJLA) — A trash truck was destroyed in a fire in Montgomery County Tuesday morning. The fire was caught on camera by Eric Villman.

Montgomery County Fire & Rescue were called to Shadow Glen Court off of High Gable Drive in Gaithersburg, Maryland just before 9 a.m. for a report of a truck fire.

The fire appears to have started in the engine compartment, according to Montgomery County Fire spokesman Pete Piringer.

There were no injuries.
