Video shows moments shots fired at Congressional baseball practice

WASHINGTON - Video obtained by the New York Post shows moments from the shooting that left five people, including top House Republican Steve Scalise wounded.

In the edited footage, shot by a witness ducking behind a fence on the baseball field, dozens of gunshots can be heard in the background.

"Are you hearing that?" someone is heard saying off camera.

“Hey is that guy okay up there? The guy’s who’s been shot is he okay? Anybody talking to him?”

At least 69 shots are heard in the video.

Footage was also obtained by The Hill, where multiple gunshots are heard from the park in Alexandria, Va.

According to MedStar Washington, Scalise is in critical condition.

Four others were also injured in the gun battle: Capitol Police Special Agent David Bailey and Krystal Griner, Zachary Barth - a legislative correspondent in Rep. Roger Williams' office and Matt Mika with Tyson Foods.

The gunman, identified as James. T. Hodgkinson, died from his injuries in the gun battle.
