United Airlines implements use of iPads to shorten maintenance delays for flights
WASHINGTON (ABC7) —
United Airlines is using iPads during maintenance issued to shorten flight delays for passengers.
Maintenance technicians are using this technology to troubleshoot problems with the plane before it lands.
In the past, a basic maintenance problem could delay a flight for an hour or even two.
However, the use of the new technology has cut maintenance delays in half.
