WASHINGTON (AP) - A revamped bus depot is being inaugurated at Washington's Union Station.

Tuesday's ceremony will celebrate the completion of an approximately four-month project to re-configure the space, including improving lighting, re-striping the pavement and installing signs and crosswalks.

Some of the bus services began using the space as part of a pilot project starting in 2010. Services now departing from the station include Bolt Bus, Megabus, DC2NY, Sprinter Bus and Washington Deluxe.

Riders will be charged a small fee on each ticket to help pay for the improvements, which cost more than $100,000.
