Truck carrying clothes and shoes catches fire at Montgomery County gas station

SILVER SPRING, Md. (ABC7) — A truck carrying clothes and shoes burst into flames at a gas station in Montgomery County Thursday morning, according to authorities.

The Montgomery County Fire Department said that a box truck was "fully involved" in a blazed near gas pumps at an Exxon station near Old Columbia Pike and East Randolph Road in Silver Spring.

The fire was later put out, with the gas pumps shut down and the station closed. No one was injured in the incident, according to the fire department.

Firefighters remained on the scene and some lanes in the area were blocked.
