Tree lighting kicks off Rosslyn Cheer with live music, holiday market, raffles, and more
ARLINGTON, Va. (7News) — The Rosslyn tree lighting was live on 7News Thursday evening with live music.
Rosslyn Cheer 2021 includes the tree lighting, a holiday market at Central Place Plaza, raffles, and other giveaways.

Thursday, December 9 (starts at 5PM)
ABC7 will lead our live countdown of the neighborhood tree lighting! HB Woodlawn Secondary School's choir and a live mariachi band will fill the air with festive music. You're also invited to take holiday pictures in Santa's chair set up at Central Place Plaza. Open Road Grill will be onsite to craft holiday cocktails to keep your spirits bright at their bar. Stick around for raffle prizes throughout the night. The community is also welcome to watch the tree lighting on ABC7 or on our Facebook livestream.
Friday, December 10 (5-8PM)
Our Holiday Market opens featuring artisan goods and gifts from12 unique local vendors. Open Road Grill will operate a bar serving beer, wine and holiday cocktails. Bring your furry friends for special dog giveaways! Santa Claus will fly in from the North Pole for pictures!
Saturday, December 11 (11AM-4PM)
Bring the kids for this Family Edition of the Holiday Market. Santa Claus will still be around for pictures. Synetic Theater will perform a special holiday version of "The Miraculous Magic Balloon" show at 3PM. And stick around for our raffle to win Cheerio penguin plushies! Free hot chocolate will keep your warm throughout the day.
