Suspicious fire under investigation in Southeast D.C.
WASHINGTON (ABC7) —
Police are investigating a suspicious fire that left a man in critical condition in Southeast Washington Monday night.
The fire happened in an apartment building in the 4500 block of 3rd St., SE.
A witness says the man had his hands tied behind his back when he was found at the scene.
Arson investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
A Red Cross employee says five or more families, including 15 or more people, are being assisted with emergency lodging and other items after the fire.
