Suspect accused of kidnapping man at gunpoint, driving him to D.C. ATM's to get cash

A 22-year-old man was arrested for allegedly kidnapping a man at gunpoint and driving him to different D.C. ATM's to obtain money.

Metropolitan Police say 22-year-old Ethan Moye-Gordon is charged with kidnapping while armed.

On Nov. 10, Gordon and another individuals confronted a man in the 1500 block of Rhode Island Avenue in Northwest Washington.

According to investigators, one of the suspects pulled out a gun and forced the man into the a vehicle and drove him to "different locations" in an effort to withdraw money from ATM's in the area.

The man escaped and called police. Authorities say an investigation into this crime is ongoing.
