State of the Union watch parties with themes and deals in the DMV

President Donald Trump will deliver first State of the Union.

It might be one of the most anticipated State of the Union (SOTU) addresses Tuesday.

That's because it will be President Donald Trump's first-ever SOTU. This year’s address will begin at 9 p.m. EST.

Many people will watch from the comfort of their home in front of a TV, while others may stream the address online. There will be plenty of ways to watch Tuesday evening.

However, the tradition continues in Washington D.C. as State of the Union watch parties are taking place across the region. It’s a long-standing tradition for residents who live in the nation's capital and there will be plenty of places to watch.

Shaw's Tavern in Northwest DC will feature half-priced pizzas and burgers, $5 house wines and $5 Sam Adams draft.
