PGCPS school bus hits pole at RFK Stadium; 22 kids, 2 adults sent to hospitals

WASHINGTON (ABC7) — A school bus accident at RFK Stadium has sent 22 kids and two adults to the hospital, D.C. fire officials confirm.

D.C. police say a bus from Woodridge Elementary School in Prince George's County hit a light pole in the parking lot.

The bus was carrying 46 people total and they had been attending the USA Science & Engineering Festival.

All who were injured are priority 3 patients with minor injuries and are expected to be okay, D.C. Fire says.
