WASHINGTON (ABC7) — Protesters started gathering near Black Lives Matter Plaza to voice their displeasure outside of the final night of the Republican National Convention.
President Donald Trump delivered his acceptance speech at the finale of the RNC Thursday night.

A group called 'Purpose Party' led some of the anti-Trump group of protesters.
Protesters gathered from all over the country, such as Portland, Oregon.
At around 8:40 p.m., the group was seen marching to the South Lawn, where fireworks are expected after Trump's speech.
Several city vehicles blocked the nearby areas to prevent protesters access to the South Lawn.
Dancing and painting also happened near the protests.
ATVs were later seen rolling down 15th Street near the White House during protests happening during President Trump's RNC speech. The vehicles are illegal in the District.
ABC7 reporters were there as law enforcement on bicycles confronted protesters.
