Police searching for suspect who shot and killed DC teen before stealing Gucci belt, watch

Authorities are are trying to find and identify the suspect who shot and killed a D.C. boy in Prince George's County before stealing his necklace, Gucci belt and watch.

Prince George's County Police said both they and Park Police were called to the 5300 block of Varnum Street around 1:55 p.m. on June 18. Officers said they found 17-year-old Bryan Alvarado-Esquivel, of Northwest D.C., suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Police said the suspect was seen fleeing the scene in blue Jordans. He is described as an African American man in his 20s with "shoulder-length dreadlocks or braids," standing 5-foot-2. Authorities released pictures of Alvarado-Esquivel's stolen belt and watch in the hopes that they could help identify the suspect.

Anyone with information on the murder is asked to call police.
