Police: Noose found hanging from tree at Hirschhorn Museum

WASHINGTON (ABC7) — United States Park Police are investigating a noose found by a Smithsonian Police Officer in a tree at the Hirschhorn Museum.

Officials say the noose was found inside the canopy of the tree, on the west side of the plaza.

Police are not sure when the noose was hung, or how long it had been there.
