Police: 2 arrested after man they knew was robbed, killed in Fort Washington

    Two men have been arrested and charged with murder after a man was shot and killed Sunday night in Fort Washington.

    Prince George’s County Police said Giovanni Little, 22, was found outside suffering from gunshot wounds around 7:30 p.m. in the 7200 block of Shockley Court in Fort Washington after officers responded to a report of a shooting at about 7:30 p.m. Little was pronounced dead at the scene.

    On Monday, police identified Irving Silva, 25, and Jelanie Edwards, 17, and said they were arrested nearby within minutes of the shooting.

    The suspects and the victim knew each other and Little was robbed before he was shot, police said.
