Police help rebuild a Habitat for Humanity house for a young family

Police help rebuild a Habitat for Humanity house for a young family. (ABC7)

Dozens of Prince George’s County Police officers swarmed a house in Landover Hills.

And they were packing heat, but swinging hammers. Not serving a warrant but serving the community by helping rebuild a Habitat for Humanity house.

The house has already been purchased by a young couple with a small child. They’ll be involved in the rebuild effort too.

And when it’s move in day, the officers will be back.
