Police received an emergency call when motion detectors went off after hours at Hayfield High School in Alexandria.

It turned out to be an escaped snake. And not just any snake.

A Columbian Red Tail Boa Constrictor had escaped its tank in a science lab.

Fortunately, Fairfax County Animal Protection Police Officer Siobhan Chase was on the job and she caught the boa.

In the video above, Tim Barber talks with Chase about the capture.
