Police: 2 killed in shooting in Southwest D.C.
WASHINGTON (ABC7) —
Two people were fatally shot early Sunday morning in Southwest Washington, police said.
Zyair Bradley, 20, of Southwest D.C., and Alexis Washington, 23, of Northeast D.C., were found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds around 1:16 a.m. inside a vehicle in the Unit Block of Forrester Street, SW by officers responding to the sound of gunshots. Both were transported to an area hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
Bradley and Washington’s deaths are the 10th and 11th homicides in D.C. since the start of 2019, according to Metropolitan Police Department data.
