Officials: Secret Service vehicle stolen from Virginia service center

A Secret Service vehicle was stolen from a service center Tuesday in Arlington, according to the Washington Field Office.

Authorities said the stolen vehicle did not contain any equipment that would compromise the Secret Service.

A spokesperson released the following statement following the incident:

"The U.S. Secret Service Washington Field Office can confirm that a fleet vehicle was stolen from a service center in Arlington, VA. We also confirmed there was no equipment in the stolen vehicle that compromises the Secret Service mission. The Washington Field Office is working with our partners at the Arlington Police Department to investigate the theft and locate the vehicle."
