WASHINGTON (ABC7) — Six riders on a D.C. public school bus are safe after it went up in flames in Northeast Friday morning, D.C. Fire & EMS report.
According to officials, the cause was from an engine fire.
The driver of the bus was taken to a hospital for evaluation. All other occupants were safely evacuated.
The fire took place at 5th and D Streets, N.E. shortly after 8 a.m.
