ASHBURN, Va. (ABC7) — The sheriff's office arrested a naked man in Ashburn on Saturday after he was jumping onto vehicles and assaulted a sheriff's deputy, officials say.
The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office say they were called to the 2100 block of Ashburn Road at around 10:16 p.m. for a report of a man laying in the road and then jumping onto vehicles. Deputies got to the scene and say they found the man, later identified as David Mendoza, 18, of Ashburn, "unclothed."
Mendoza did not cooperate with the deputies and assaulted one of them while resisting arrest, according to the sheriff's office.
The sheriff's office charged Mendoza with Assault on Law Enforcement and Obstruction of Justice. He was later released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on an unsecured bond.
