More than 100 dogs evacuated from Hurricane Harvey in an affected area of Louisiana arrived in Manassas Saturday afternoon to be taken care of as recovery efforts continue.

The dogs were taken out of shelter in southwest Louisiana and flown to Virginia where they will be able to get the care they need from local animal rescue agencies like The Humane Society of the United States, Humane Rescue Alliance, Tri County Animal Shelter and the Maryland SPCA.

Our sister brand Circa was live at the scene when the plane of dogs arrived on Saturday.
