Montgomery Co. All-Stars advance to regional tournament

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — After winning the Maryland State Little League championship in July, the Montgomery County Little League All-Stars will be advancing to the Little League Mid Atlantic Regional Tournament.

The regional tournament will be held from Aug. 8 to Aug. 14 in Bristol, Connecticut. On Aug. 9 at 10 p.m. airing on ESPN+, the All-Stars will be facing off the winner of the New Jersey vs. Delaware game that will be played on Aug. 8.

Officials say the All-Stars are two wins away from the World Series in Pennsylvania.
