Missing man last seen nearly a week ago in Rockville; police concerned for his well-being

Montgomery County Police are searching for a missing man who was last seen almost a week ago in Rockville.

James Schenk, 40, was last seen on Dec. 27 and was a resident of the Dorothy Day Place transitional housing program located at 5320 Marinelli Road.

Schenk is described as white and approximately 6-foot-1. He weighs 265 pounds and has black hair with brown eyes.

Investigators say they're concerned for his physical and emotional well-being.

Montgomery County Police are asking anyone with information on Schenk's location to call 301-279-8000.
