Metro's Red Line delayed in Montgomery County after downed wire on tracks
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (ABC7) —
Red Line trains are single tracking in Montgomery County Thursday morning due to a downed wire across the tracks at the White Flint station.
Metro officials say trains were single tracking between the Grosvenor and Twinbrook stops because of the incident.
The single tracking later stopped but delays continue between Shady Grove and NoMa-Gallaudet U New York Avenue.
Metro says they have sent maintenance crews to respond to the wire.
