WASHINGTON (7News) — Under a mix of sun and clouds, Friday features warm temperatures in the 70s with low humidity.
The next weather maker to impact the Mid-Atlantic will bring added clouds Saturday. Latest forecast trends have the day staying dry and comfortable with temperatures near 70. The core of the system will develop off the southeast coast Saturday and move inland over Georgia, South and North Carolina, and extreme southern Virginia Saturday and Sunday.

This will bring added cloud cover to our area, breezy easterly winds, and a low chance of showers Sunday and Memorial Day. While there is a chance for passing showers Sunday and Monday, the balance of both days may be dry for outdoor barbecues and gatherings.
Looking ahead, a significant warm-up arrives next week. High temperatures will reach the low 80s Wednesday with the first 90-degree day of the year likely Thursday and Friday.
