A local bike community is calling for change after a cyclist was hit and killed by a truck over the weekend in Northwest Washington.

Members of the DC bike community tell ABC7 News they have complained about the intersection where 36-year-old Jeffrey Long was run over.

Long was in the bike lane when he was struck by a vehicle in the bike lane along M Street.

Now the bike community is calling for the city officials to make changes.
