Members of Congress, former NFL players vs. Capitol Police in Congressional Football Game
WASHINGTON (ABC7) —
Members of Congress along with former NFL players will team up against Capitol Police in the Congressional Football Game Wednesday evening.
The kickoff will take place at 7:20 p.m. at the Gallaudet University in Northeast.
Congressman Steve Scalise, who was shot in June during a practice for the Congressional baseball game, is expected to speak during a half-time presentation where two Capitol Police officers who helped save his life will be honored.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online or at the gate at the time of the event.
Former Washington Redskins Ken Harvey, Santana Moss and Gary Clark, among others, will take part in the game.
The money raised will go to charity.
