MCPS school bus strikes pedestrian in Montgomery County, police say

    A pedestrian was struck by a Montgomery County Public Schools bus Tuesday afternoon in Germantown, Maryland.

    Police say the unidentified person's injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

    Montgomery County Public Schools officials say two students were aboard the bus, and there were no injuries to the students or bus driver.

    The accident occurred at Ridge Road and Observation Drive.
