WASHINGTON, DC (7News) — Officers located and arrested a 24-year-old Maryland man in Jamaica, and charged him in a deadly January Georgetown shooting.
Authorities say Ranje Reynolds, of Beltsville, was located in Kingston, Jamaica, and was charged in the fatal shooting of 27-year-old Tarek Boothe.

Several blocks of M Street in Georgetown were blocked off following the shooting around 6 p.m. on Jan. 31, where police said Reynolds shot Boothe before fleeing the scene with another person.
Reynolds is going through the extradition process and will be returned to Washington, D.C., where he will be charged with first degree murder while armed, police said.
