PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (ABC7) — A man jumped off the Woodrow Wilson Bridge and survived after he made a bomb threat on Sunday afternoon in Prince George's County, Maryland.
The man was taken to George Washington Hospital for treatment, and his identity is not being released at this time. According to police, it was a bomb threat and an attempted suicide.
Officers arrived to the scene after the man already jumped over the bridge and into the Potomac River. Witnesses told police the man mentioned he had a bomb in his Toyota Corolla.
Authorities say there was no threat found and roadways were reopened after being temporarily closed for police activity.
