Montgomery County police say a man is in critical condition after being shot in Germantown Thursday night.

Police say they responded at approximately 9:05 p.m. to the area of Mateny Road and Cinnamon Drive in Germantown for the report of a shooting that just occurred.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and no one has been arrested at this time.
