WASHINGTON (ABC7) — A man is dead after being shot in Southeast D.C. Friday night, according to police.

D.C. Police say they responded to a report of a shooting around 10:25 p.m. at the 5100 block of H Street SE. Officers say they found Christopher Redfear, 23, of Capitol Heights unconscious and not breathing suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Redfear was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Police say the shooting took place some time after 9:30 p.m.

Police have not released any suspect information or any other details on the victim.
