Man accused of killing uncle after punching him unconscious in fight at Glen Burnie home
GLEN BURNIE, Md. (ABC7) —
A 26-year-old man was arrested for allegedly killing his uncle after punching him several times and causing him to lose consciousness during an argument that turned violent inside of a home Wednesday night in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
Devin Leontis Peele is charged with first-degree murder and related charges in the murder of his uncle 58-year-old Stephen Peele, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
Devin and Stephen Peele were involved in a verbal argument that led to an attack inside of a home in the 200 block of East Thompson Avenue.
Police say Devin Peele assaulted his uncle and he lost consciousness. Officers arrived to the residence and found Stephen Peele dead on the kitchen floor.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the victim's "exact cause of death," according to investigators.
