(ABC7) — Light snow looks likely Tuesday as approaching clipper and its associated cold front draw near.
Expect mostly cloudy skies to start with highs pushing 40 degrees before the system arrives, so no issues through lunchtime.
At this point, it would appear snow showers will impact the evening rush but with the “milder” air in place, it would be untreated surfaces that would pose the greatest concern at first before temperatures fall.
Periods of light snow could linger into early Wednesday before the system pulls away. So that means potential impact for a second rush on the Wednesday morning. In the end, an early estimate for accumulations would be around 1 inch.
