BETHESDA, Md. (7News) — A large house fire occurred early Monday morning in Bethesda, Maryland causing $1.5 million in damages.
Fire officials say no one was injured and report the home was empty at the time of the incident.
Approximately 45 firefighters encountered heavy five conditions when they arrived at the scene of the home located at Kittery Lane off Bradley Boulevard.
"There was a fireworks display at the Bethesda country club last night between 9 and 10 PM," said Pete Piringer, Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service. "Several neighbors were speculating, but fire investigators have all but ruled this out as a cause of the fire."
