Want to get within one degree of Kevin Bacon?

Kevin Bacon and his brother, Michael Bacon, are performing after the Nats game Sunday at Dacha Beer Garden at Navy Yard as part of a fundraiser to support the people of Ukraine.

Dacha Navy Yard is hosting the fundraiser at the beer garden across the street from Nationals Park at 79 Potomac Ave. SE.

Twitter user @SixDegreesofKB tweeted, “Hey @Nats4Good - we know you’re doing amazing fundraising for Ukrainian refugees. Head on over to @DachaDC Navy Yard after the @Nationals game today for a special performance by The @baconbrothers. Have a beer and help support the people of Ukraine.”

“We heard about @DachaDC running promotions to fundraise for Ukraine because it hits close to home for the owners and staff,” Kevin Bacon tweeted. “@SixDegreesofKB and @baconbrothers want to help. Stop by today to support their fundraiser. Never know who you'll run into.”

Organizers say the money raised will go toward food and medical assistance for those displaced.

Dacha-organized fundraisers have already contributed more than $20,000 to the effort since the invasion began.

"We are screaming for help because whatever we are receiving, we are grateful, but it’s never enough because the enemy is strong and its intent to come back," said server Ilona Molyavchyk

"It’s just been absolutely terrifying to speak to my family back home, to my little cousins, uncles who are still there. You never know what can happen tomorrow," said GM Zoriana Makar.
