(WJLA) - Another person who was involved in the murder of an Alexandria community activist has pleaded guilty, prosecutors say.

Ivan Newman, one of three people arrested and charged in the 2012 murder of Lenny Harris, pleaded guilty Wednesday to second-degree murder charges. A judge sentenced him to 90 years in prison.

Newman is the second person involved in Harris' murder to be sentenced this month. On Nov. 1, Tyrone Lewis was sentenced to life in prison without parole after being convicted Sept. 10. During his sentencing, Lewis continued to insist that he was set up

A third person arrested in connection with the murder, Linwood Johnson, says that robbery was the motivation for the murder. Johnson also pleaded guilty to second-degree murder charges.

Harris, 53, vanished in September 2011 from his Del Ray neighborhood. His body was found several months later in a well in Prince George's County.
