Ice cream truck engulfed in flames along National Mall

WASHINGTON (ABC7) — An ice cream truck is heavily damaged after bursting into flames Monday while on 14th Street and Madison Drive along the National Mall.

No one was injured, DC Fire and EMS report, and investigators are currently working to determine what caused the fire.

"@dcfireems put this out really quickly! Great job and hopefully all are safe!" tweeted Tate Holcombe, who captured footage of the fire while driving by.
